成果简介NOVELTY - Synthesizing nickel sulfide and nickel-iron sulfide nanoparticles involves reacting bis(N-(pyrrol-2-ylmethyl)-N-butyldithiocarbamato-S,S')nickel (II) and bis(N-methylferrocenyl-N-(2-phenylethyl)dithiocarbamato-S,S')-nickel (II). USE - Method for synthesizing nickel sulfide and nickel-iron sulfide nanoparticles used for photocatalytic degradation of dyes including methylene blue and rhodamine-B (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The nickel-iron sulfide degrades methylene blue and rhodamine-B much better than nickel sulfide. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for evaluating photocatalytic activities of the bimetallic sulfide nanoparticles by degradation of methylene blue and rhodamine-B in aqueous solution under ultraviolet irradiation, where the efficient photocatalysts are more efficient than the monometallic sulfide nanoparticles for degrading methylene blue and rhodamine-B under ultraviolet (UV) light.
