成果简介	NOVELTY - The lock has a radio frequency identification(RFID) reader/writer which reads the information stored on an RFIDtag, when the RFIDtag is presented to the RFIDreader/writer by a user. The door lock is unlocked, if the information on the RFIDtag matches the information stored in the door lock system. USE - Radio frequency identification(RFID) door lock for controlling an access to a door. ADVANTAGE - The lock is more convenient and more secure than existing key-based locks, since the RFIDcards are difficult to duplicate and are programmed to only work with specific locks. The lock avoids the need for fumbling with keys, and the user is allowed to easily grant or revoke access to authorized users. The lock can be integrated with other security systems. Hence, the RFIDcards can be used to trigger alarms, lock down the doors, or log the access events. The door lock is more durable and not susceptible to wear and tear, and is prevented from being damaged in a fire or other disaster. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a block diagram of the RFID door lock.
