成果简介NOVELTY - The system has a typical gender recognition system that is divided into a front-end system and a back-end system. The front-end system extracts gender related information from a speech signal and represents by a set of vectors called feature. Features like energy, ZCR, MFCC and Entropy, where the feature is extracted using Gaussian Mixture Model (GMM) algorithm. The backend system creates a gender model to recognize the gender from speech signal in recognition phase. The backend system extracts frequency at maximum power of the audio from an estimated power spectrum, where the system uses GMM technique as an identification tool. USE - System for detecting voice gender using gaussian mixture models. ADVANTAGE - The system presents processing of a speech signals which are taken from 50 people.
