| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system comprises has weather sensors, soil moisture sensors, controller and a communication system. Initially the weather data from Indian metrological site has been loaded in to the Arm microcontroller. With this data, future six days weather data can be analyzed which includes temperature, rain fall etc. Using this data the smart watering system will regulate the flow of water. The watering can be fed to the plants either using sprinkler or using drip irrigation. USE - Weather-based smart irrigation system for improving crop health by delivering water according to specific needs of crops. ADVANTAGE - The system improves and stabilizes crop yields of smallholder olive farmers through implementation of sustainable irrigationsystems. The system optimizes volume and timing of water distributio positive economic consequences for farmers and families, and minimizes year to year yield fluctuations, thus leading to higher and more stable farm income. The smart irrigation system can adjust watering schedules accordingly by utilizing real-time weather data such as temperature, humidity, rainfall, and evapotranspiration rates, so that the system helps farmers to optimize water usage, thus reducing irrigation costs significantly overwatering or underwatering can negatively impact crop health.
