ADVANTAGE - The method exhibits strong binding interaction between curcumin and picric acid as noted by quenching of fluorescence 0.1% of Curcuma longapowder in aqueous medium sensing of picric acid for µm level, utilizes phytochemicals as a sensor material making it a green and environmental friendly method for the detection of picric acid, can be used as good picric acid sensor in the field of sensors.
