成果简介NOVELTY - Preparing oxime compound of (I), involves: (i) reacting 2-amino-5-chloro-2'-fluorobenzophenone compound of (V) with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in presence of enhancing agent in polar solvent to obtain 2-amino-5-chloro-2'-fluorobenzophenone-β-oxime compound of (XVIII), which is in-situ treated with chloroacetyl chloride in presence of base in non-polar solvent to obtain oxime compound (I). USE - Process for preparing oxime compound used for the preparation of midazolam compound (claimed), as sedative and inductive agent. ADVANTAGE - The process is efficient, economical, eco-friendly, simple, cost-efficient and environment friendly, and exhibits high yield and purity. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - Preparing oxime compound of formula (I), involves: (i) reacting 2-amino-5-chloro-2'-fluorobenzophenone compound of formula (V) with hydroxylamine hydrochloride in presence of enhancing agent in polar solvent to obtain 2-amino-5-chloro-2'-fluorobenzophenone-β-oxime compound of formula (XVIII), which is in-situ treated with chloroacetyl chloride in presence of base in non-polar solvent to obtain oxime compound (I). An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a use of oxime compound (I) obtained by the process, which is provided for the preparation of midazolam compound of formula (II).
