Improvement of physical and chemical characteristics, high specific energy intensity and stability of operating characteristics during long-term operation at different current densities is the technical result, which is achieved by a method of producing a cathode material, which includes a step for producing primary particles of an active material by a hydrothermal method, mixing primary particles with a conductive and binding component, one or more, in a suspension and spraying the suspension, containing mixture of primary particles and component(s) by means of spray drier at temperature from 120 to 300°C.
