成果简介NOVELTY - A wall of continuous casting machine crystallizer comprises base plate (1) made of highly heat-conducting copper-based alloy, and filler plate (3) designed for restoring original thickness of the base plate when its working surface wears out during operation and is applied to worn working surface of base plate by friction stir welding with overlap. The working surface of base plate is made with entire working plane prepared by mechanical processing. The plate (3) is made proportionate in geometric parameters with the working surface of main plate and of a thickness that compensates for the size of worn layer of the working surface of main plate. The filler plate is connected to the main plate along entire plane of the working surface of main plate and secured by a continuous flat weld made by multi-pass flat overlap friction stir welding, and ensures formation of continuous layer of bronze on the entire working surface of main plate and restores original thickness of the main plate. USE - Wall of continuous casting machine crystallizer used for metallurgy. ADVANTAGE - The wall of continuous casting machine crystallizer has prolonged service life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A wall of continuous casting machine crystallizer comprises a base plate made of a highly heat-conducting copper-based alloy, in which slotted channel (2) for cooling liquid is made, and a filler plate designed for restoring original thickness of the base plate when its working surface wears out during operation and is applied to the worn working surface of the base plate by friction stir welding with overlap. The working surface of the base plate is made with entire working plane prepared by mechanical processing. The filler plate is made proportionate in geometric parameters with the working surface of main plate and of a thickness that compensates for the size of worn layer of the working surface of main plate. The filler plate is connected to the main plate along entire plane of the working surface of main plate and secured by a continuous flat weld made by multi-pass flat overlap friction stir welding, and ensures the formation of a continuous layer of bronze on the entire working surface of main plate and monolithically restores original thickness of the main plate, while the main plate and the filler plate are made of chrome-zirconium bronze. In the contact surface formed by filler plate, a hardening wear-resistant composite protective coating (4) is produced using high-speed gas flame spraying from powder mixtures based on nickel-chromium alloying system powder.
