成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to production of chitosan derivatives. Method of producing carboxymethyl chitosan involves treating an aqueous solution of chitosan with sodium chloroacetate and, if necessary, sodium hydroxide. Treatment is carried out at a chitosan concentration of 18–25 wt.% and a molar ratio of sodium chloroacetate: chitosan: sodium hydroxide of 1–2: 1: 0–1 at 60–70 °C for 22–26 hours. Then washed with water, sodium hydroxide solution and dried at 60–70 °C to constant weight. USE - Chemical or physical processes.
