EXOPROSTHESIS FOR PREVENTING DILATATION OF AUTOVENOUS AND XENOSCOPIC SHUNTS

成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to vascular surgery, and can be used in surgical treatment of arterial occlusion by autovenous bypass surgery, or bypass surgery using xenografts, as well as for the treatment of true aneurysms of native permanent vascular access, in patients with terminal renal failure on programmed hemodialysis. Exoprosthesis for preventing dilatation of autovenous and xenoscopic shunts includes a tubular mesh structure, namely, a hollow prosthesis with wall thickness of 0.15–0.20 mm consists of four layers of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) pre-stretched by 1,400% and cut into tapes. Material structure is made in the form of elements of nodes connected by fibrils, and elements of void space, with connection of elements into a three-dimensional network, includes a prosthesis body formed by a crosswise winding of a tape, a pre-stretched layer of material on a shaping body of the prosthesis core, allowing to obtain an exoprosthesis with an internal diameter of 6 to 12 mm and use it, depending on the purpose, with different initial diameters of the autovein and/or xenoprosthesis. Direction of fibrils in adjacent layers is perpendicular to each other. Prosthesis is made of material having volume fraction of void space from 30 to 90%, specific surface area of void space from 0.1 to 0.9 mcm2/mcm3, average distance between cavities in volume is from 1.5 to 50 mcm, average volume chord is from 0.4 to 30 mcm. Mesh structure of the prosthesis is formed by uniform perforation of its lateral surface with holes with diameter of 2.5 mm and 1.5 mm, with a pitch of at least 5 mm. USE - Medicine. ADVANTAGE - Reduced risk of aneurysmal transformation of native autovenous and xenoimplants in remote period, after reconstructive interventions, reduced risk of shunt damage during thrombectomy, puncture and/or endovascular angioplasty. 1 cl, 2 dwg
