METHOD OF PRODUCING BISMUTH, IRON AND TUNGSTEN OXIDE POWDER WITH PYROCHLORE PHASE STRUCTURE

成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to methods of producing nanosized and/or submicron powders of complex oxide of bismuth, iron and tungsten, which can be used in technologies for obtaining materials for photocatalytic processes of oxidation of harmful organic substances, in photocatalytic processes of generating hydrogen for the needs of hydrogen power engineering, as well as materials of conducting layers in solar cells. Composite composition (Bi2O3)0.61(Fe2O3)0.22(WO3), which is a mixture of pyrochlore of composition (Bi2O3)0.52(Fe2O3)0.27(WO3) and Aurivillius phases Bi2WO6, are prepared from solutions of bismuth nitrate, iron nitrate and ammonium paratungstate, taken in stoichiometric ratio, by mixing them to form a suspension. Obtained precursor suspension is evaporated until complete evaporation of the liquid. Obtained precursor powder is heated to temperature of 280–300 °C at rate of 5–10 °C/min and held at this temperature for at least 1 hour, then heated to temperature of 580–600 °C at rate of 10–15 °C/min and held at this temperature for 4–5 hours. Obtained powder is cooled. USE - Chemistry.
