成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to a method of producing sodium chloroacetate used for synthesis of biopolymer derivatives, herbicides, glycolic and thioglycolic acids, as well as a PVC stabilizer. Method of producing sodium chloroacetate by treating chloroacetic acid with sodium carbonate or sodium bicarbonate is characterized by that treatment is carried out in the presence of ethyl acetate or acetonitrile, with molar ratio of chloroacetic acid: sodium carbonate: ethyl acetate or acetonitrile 1:0.45:0.93–3.48 or at a molar ratio of chloroacetic acid: sodium hydrocarbonate: ethyl acetate or acetonitrile 1:0.91:0.93–3.48 for 3–4 hours at 20–25 °C, followed by filtering and drying the precipitate.
