| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The device has a processing unit (1) physically connected to components selected from a multitude of cameras (2A, 2B), an integrated radio frequency identification barcode scanner (3), a display panel (7), a weight measuring sensor (4) and a power source. The processing unit is wirelessly connected to the weight measuring sensor and a central server (5) such that the device ensures correct processing of items in a shopping cart and efficient inventory management. The processing unit comprises a single board computer (1A) with a graphics processing unit (1B) for rapid decision-making. The barcode scanner manually processes items equipped with radio frequency identification tags, while placing in the shopping cart. The power source is selected from a group consisting of a lithium-ion battery, lead-acid battery, nickel-cadmium battery, nickel-metal hydride battery, nickel-zinc battery, lithium-ion polymer battery and an alkaline battery. USE - Portable scanning and computing device for use in a shopping cart or trolley in self-service retail stores e.g. supermarkets, departmental stores and mega marts. ADVANTAGE - The device can enhance shopping experience, streamline inventory management and provide retailers with a cost-effective and user-friendly tool. The device allows customers to effortlessly scan items using computer vision technology and view total bill in real-time. The device can reduce shopping time and enhance overall experience by applying a streamlined approach.
