| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Multifunctional membrane for hybrid water treatment system comprises an aluminum oxide (Al2O3) based membrane. The Al2O3-based membrane comprises 25-30 wt.% Al2O3, 2-10 wt.% binder, and 1- 2 wt.% surfactant. The thickness of the Al2O3-based membrane is 300-400 µm. A conductive material layer is coated on the Al2O3-based membrane, where the thickness of the conducting material layer is 10-30 µm. A photocatalytic material layer is coated on the conductive material layer, where the thickness of the photocatalytic layer is 33-89 nm. USE - Multifunctional membrane for hybrid water treatment system (claimed). ADVANTAGE - The multifunctional membrane employs aluminum (Al) waste sourced Al2O3 membrane as a major functional element for a hybrid reactor for treatment of contaminated water. The membrane has a multifaceted functionality that includes acting as a photocatalyst, electrocatalyst, and filtration medium. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - INDEPENDENT CLAIMS are also included for the following: (1) a method for preparing multifunctional membrane for a hybrid water treatment system, which involves preparing Al2O3 powder from waste aluminum (Al) foil using sodium carbonate as a reducing agent, reacting 25-30 wt.% Al2O3 powder, 2-10 wt.% binder, 1-2 wt.% surfactant, and 55-70 wt.% N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone (NMP) under stirring to obtain a slurry, casting the slurry using a flat sheet membrane casting machine followed by immersing in a water bath to obtain Al2O3 based membrane and preparing a 0.1-0.3 mg/mL conductive material solution and vacuum filtering on the Al2O3-based membrane to obtain a conducting material coated Al2O3 based membrane, and then electrodepositing a photocatalytic on conductive material coated Al2O3 membrane to obtain the multifunctional membrane; and (2) a hybrid water treatment system comprising membrane as the working anode, and stainless steel as the working cathode. |
