成果简介NOVELTY - The rotary tool has a working end for accommodating free ends of a wire. A secure grip is arranged on a ligature wire to prevent slippage during a twisting process and lateral sides of the working end for providing optimal engagement points for the wire. A tool main body is inserted into a straight hand piece powered by a micromotor after the free ends of the wire are engaged in a tool split blade. A micromotor is activated for initiating rotary motion of the tool main body and rotary movement of the tool main body. USE - Rotary tool i.e. dental rotary drive cutting tool, for intermaxillary fixation procedure i.e. maxillomandibular complex fracture treatment, of a tooth of a patient. ADVANTAGE - The cutting portion is formed on the tip side, the shank is formed in the base, and the neck part is formed between the cutting portion and the shaft, so that the file can be prevented from being easily broken by weakening engagement of the file with the root canal wall, and damage of the files can be reduced, thus increasing life span until breakage when the file breaks at the narrowest portion of the tapered portion, and and hence increasing in life span is possible. DESCRIPTION OF DRAWING(S) - The drawing shows a schematic view of the rotary tool for intermaxillary fixation procedure. 1Split lengthwise 2Indentation 3Serrations
