Disclosed is a method for producing an agent having hepatoprotective and choleretic effect, for this purpose plant material consisting of Silybum marianum fruits, Calendula officinalis flowers, Matricaria chamomilla flowers at the ratio of components in wt.%: 4:4:2, ground to particle size with diameter of 1.0-3.0 mm, extracted three times at temperature of 75 °C at ratio of 1 wt.pts. plant material : 10 parts by volume extractant with hot water 75 °C with constant stirring, first and second contact of phases for 25 minutes, third contact of phases for 15 minutes, then combined extracts are filtered, evaporated, purified by separation, evaporated, then dried in a vacuum drying apparatus.
