成果简介	NOVELTY - Manufacturing sustainable bricks involves (i) collecting used sanitary napkins and subjecting them to controlled incineration to produce ash; (ii) processing the ash by sieving and homogenizing it to obtain a fine and uniform powder; (iii) mixing the processed ash with binders, like cement, and aggregates, with ratio of 1:2; and (iv) adding water to form a workable paste, molding the paste into bricks, and curing the bricks at a temperature of 150-200 °C for 24 hours (h), enhancing the inclusion of sanitary napkin ash to the compressive strength of the brick, up to 20 newton (N)/millimeter square (mm2). USE - Manufacturing sustainable bricks for manufacturing sustainable, low-cost bricks utilizing sanitary napkin. ADVANTAGE - The method not only addresses the challenges of sanitary napkin waste disposal but also reduces reliance on traditional materials like clay, significantly lowers the environmental impact of brick manufacturing, which promotes sustainable construction practices by converts waste into a valuable resource.
