成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to welding and metallurgy, particularly, to production of composite material of Al-Pb system based on friction stir welding with application of tool with thrust collar and pin. Blind slot is made in the matrix from the aluminium alloy to the depth of not more than 0.75 of the length of the pin of the tool with the width of not more than its diameter. Groove is filled with lead powder and the groove filled with lead powder is closed with a tool with only a thrust collar without a pin at the ratio of the tool rotation frequency to the longitudinal feed value in range of 5.7-7.5 rpm at a tool inclination angle of 1.0-1.5° to feed direction. Then, tool with pin is inserted into groove closed by closing seam and moved along groove with action on plasticized zone by pressure applied perpendicular to surface of matrix from aluminium alloy by means of support surface of tool. Tool is immersed into the groove at the ratio of the tool rotation frequency to the value of the longitudinal feed in range of 9.5-11.4 rpm, and the tool inclination angle is 2-4° to feed direction.
