Method of increasing the heat capacity of concrete and mortar includes additional introduction of heat-accumulating encapsulated aggregate in form of capsules to the main components at the stage of preparing the concrete or mortar mixture, capsules contain a heat-accumulating substance in the form of a salt water solution in a polymer shell with the possibility of temperature change of its volume, wherein the encapsulated aggregate is introduced in amount of 10% to 90% of the volume, and aqueous solution of sodium sulphate is used as aqueous solution in encapsulated aggregate.
