| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The oven has a cylindrical cavity (102) for storing an atom source that is provided with alkali or alkaline earth atoms. A single heating element is distributed around a body of a cylindrical cavity (104) to heat the atom source and maintain a uniform temperature gradient between a hot end and a cold end of the body. An array of micro drilled holes (106) is arranged in a hexagonal pattern on a separate blank flange arranged on the cylindrical cavity through a gasket secured by bolts and nuts (108), where a heating of the atom source generates a stabilized flux of an outgoing effusive atomic beam from the atom source by the heating element through an outlet (110). USE - Atomic beam oven for use in quantum and precision measurements applications. Uses include but are not limited to atomic clocks, quantum computation and quantum sensing. ADVANTAGE - The oven reduces vacuum leakage and clogging issues, and realizes a consistent effusive atomic beam, and improves reliability, overall performance, overall operational efficiency and lifetime of an oven main body.
