| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Antimicrobial skin on closure matrix comprises: inner core of distinct biomaterials selected from Tinospora cordifolia, Cocos nucifera and Ficus benghalensis having longitudinal orientation of individual filaments within the thread of the skin on closure matrix. USE - Antimicrobial skin on closure matrix for managing wounds (claimed) for possessing antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. No biological data given. ADVANTAGE - The antimicrobial skin on closure matrix provides an eco-friendly, cost-effective and sustainable route for preparing different suturing options for skin closures; minimizes the limitations and complications of conventional surgical suture and wound care; provides a complete barrier to bacteria and other external contaminants and optimizes the wicking and amount of wound fluid which can be retained in the volume provided by the absorbent fabric, thus minimizing the frequency of dressing changes required in the wound treatment procedure; has no use of artificial or synthetic filaments, and uses naturally derived filaments with no side effects, good textile process ability, improved tensile properties and superior liquid absorbency, improves patient experience. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a process of preparing the antimicrobial skin on closure matrix comprising: (i) collecting the biomaterials from the source; (ii) cleaning said biomaterials obtained in step (i) in water; (iii) authenticating biomaterials obtained in step (ii); (iv) standardizing the biomaterials obtained in step (iii); (v) boiling the biomaterials obtained in step (iv) in water at pre-defined temperature for pre-defined time; (vi) extracting fibers from biomaterials obtained in step (v); vii) washing the fibers obtained in step (vi) in water; (viii) twisting plural extracted fibers obtained in step (vii) to form a solitary yarn; (ix) measuring the length and diameter of the yarn obtained in step (viii); and (x) storing the yarn in water and sesame oil to maintain the moisture content. |
