ADVANTAGE - The porous biocompatible matrix enhances faster wound healing and osteogenic potential, combination both Zein Hydroxyapatite and Metformin provides support bony defects during healing in diabetic individuals DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method for preparing a porous scaffold for bone regeneration comprising taking 0.1 g hydroxyapatite powder and 0.00064 g powdered metformin into a glass container containing 50 ml zein solution, stirring at 1000 revolutions per minute for 30 minutes, deep freezing resultant solution at -80℃ for 8 hours and freeze-drying at -56℃ for 24 hours to obtain the scaffolds.
