Said method involves culturing the human hepatocellular carcinoma cell line HepG2 in Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with glucose content of 4,500 mg/l, containing L-glutamine 4 mM, 15% bovine serum, 100 units/ml of penicillin and 100 mcg/ml of streptomycin, for 5 days, and adding progesterone to the medium to achieve its concentration in the medium selected from 10 and 100 mcM, followed by incubation for 24 hours.
