USE - Formulation of herbal hydroalcoholic leaf gel for sulcular application, having antibacterial and antiinflammatory effect of Tridax procumbensherbal leaf gel. Test details are described but no results given. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for preparing herbal hydroalcoholic leaf gel which comprises: (a) preparing the leaf extract by the hydroalcoholic solvent; (b) preparing the gel by dispersing the Carbopol940 (RTM: Crosslinked acrylic acid polymer); (c) adding the propyl paraben and methyl paraben which acts as preservatives; (d) adding the propylene glycol which acts as moisture absorbent; (e) adding the triethanolamine which acts as a pH balancer; and (f) mixing all the agents by continuous stirring at 1200rpm using a mechanical stirrer.
