成果简介	NOVELTY - Membrane for tissue regeneration, comprises: resorbable collagen guided tissue regeneration (GTR) membrane; an ethanolic extract of Phyllanthus emblicawhere extract is made up of dried fruits of Phyllanthus emblica(Amla); an ethanolic extract of Curcuma longawhere extract is made up of dried roots of Curcuma longa(Turmeric); an ethanolic extract of Cinnamon verumwhere extract is made up of dried barks of Cinnamomum verum(Cinnamon); and the extracts are obtained by adding Phyllanthus emblica, Curcuma longa, Cinnamomum verumpowder in 50 g/1000 ml ethyl alcohol. USE - Membrane for tissue regeneration used for preventing colonization of dental plaque bacteria in the surgical sites; inhibiting microbial growth against Streptococcus oralis, and Escherichia coli; promoting wound healing; and preventing the surgical site infection in postoperative periodontal therapy. ADVANTAGE - The membrane for tissue regeneration exhibits synergistic effect; ensure prolonged therapeutic effect; enhances cell viability, and prevents membrane rejection in the concentration of 5 µl in the oral environment; and enhances wound healing action. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method of preparing membrane for tissue regeneration, which involves: (a) adding all three 5% ethanolic extracts of Phyllanthus emblica, Curcuma longa, Cinnamomum verummixed with magnetic stirrer about 150 ml each and filtering with Whatman filter paper; and (b) incorporating herbal concoction comprising ethanolic extract of Phyllanthus emblica, Curcuma longa, Cinnamomum veruminto GTR membrane by soaking GTR membrane in the prepared herbal concoction for 15 minutes and air drying for 5 minutes.
