| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Stem extract comprises: a stem powder in which the stem is Cissus quadrangularis; and a solvent, which is 100 ml PET-ether to prepare the extract of Cissus quadrangularis. USE - Cissus quadrangularisStem extract for oral health, and has antibacterial activity against Streptococcus oralisat 500 µg ml concentration demonstrated by an increased zone of inhibition (all claimed), and preventing the adhesion of Streptococcus oralisto tooth surfaces by targeting specific virulence factors like the adhesion pilus islet-2. The antimicrobial activity of the Cissus quadrangularisextract against Streptococcus oraliswas tested. The result showed that the Cissus quadrangularisextract exhibited improved zone of inhibition of 17.7±0.70 mm at concentration of 500 µg/ml. ADVANTAGE - The Cissus quadrangularisStem extract promotes oral hygiene and reduces plaque accumulation naturally. |
