| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Invention relates to production of cast iron grinding bodies. Charge containing metallurgical production wastes is prepared, charge is melted to produce cast iron, it is poured into molds and iron castings are extracted therefrom in the form of grinding bodies. As initial materials of charge there used are wastes of electric arc furnaces in the form of dust containing from 20 to 50 wt.% of iron and from 12 to 30 wt.% of zinc. Dust is mixed with carbonaceous reducing agent and binder, said mixture is briquetted by method of rigid vacuum extrusion. Produced rigid extrusion briquettes are dried and placed into a rotary furnace with a reducing atmosphere for zinc extraction and iron metallization, metalized briquettes are loaded into arc furnace and melted to produce cast iron.
