| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Invention relates to ophthalmology, namely to a method for preparing preparations from in vivo obtained retinal membranes. Method of preparing preparations from in vivo retinal membranes, comprising fixing a biological material in 10% solution of neutral formalin, embedding the material in paraffin, and then making sections on a microtome, wherein the preparation, after fixation in formalin and before embedding in paraffin, is extracted from the formalin solution with a spatula and placed on a paraffin film, then, using a spatula and tweezers, the retinal membrane is oriented on the surface of the paraffin film so that the normal anatomy and topographic relationships of the parts of the preparation are preserved, then the membrane edges are fixed to the paraffin film by inserting 27 Gauge (27G, 0.417 mm) needles into the membrane edges, the prepared preparation is filled with paraffin, after which it is waiting for its hardening, needles are removed and sections are made on microtome, focusing on holes in glue left by needles. USE - Medicine. ADVANTAGE - Use of the invention provides an anatomically initial position of the sample tissues, similar to the position of these tissues inside the eye from the moment of cutting to the preparation of sections, which enables to preserve the native structure, shape and integrity of the sample, as well as significantly increase the information value of the obtained sections of the biological preparations of the retinal membranes and increase the accuracy of the results obtained during the study of the preparation. 1 cl, 1 dwg, 1 ex |
