成果简介	NOVELTY - Invention refers to medicine, namely to urology, and can be used for diagnosing inflammation in the bladder wall. Urine sample taken from the patient at the examination stage, respectively, before the treatment, is prepared. Concentration of calprotectin in urine is measured by enzyme immunoassay, mcg/ml. If the concentration of calprotectin in urine is more than 62.92 mcg/ml, inflammation in the bladder wall is diagnosed. Further, a urine sample taken from the patient after treatment is prepared. Concentration of calprotectin is measured therein. Pre-treatment calprotectin concentration is compared with the post-treatment calprotectin concentration. If the calprotectin concentration decreases after the treatment, the absence of inflammation in the bladder wall is diagnosed. USE - Medicine. ADVANTAGE - Method enables diagnosing the inflammatory process in the bladder wall of higher sensitivity and specificity of detecting diseases, including confirmation of often difficult to diagnose interstitial cystitis and further monitoring of progression of urological disorders, by extracting a new diagnostic marker of inflammation in the bladder wall – calprotectin from the urine sample. 1 cl, 2 ex
