成果简介NOVELTY - The device has a graphite printed electrode that is modified with a biorecognition element, which is enzyme glucose oxidase (3), and a hybrid composite material (2) containing chitosan and carbon nanotubes. The hybrid composite material consists of tetraethoxysilane and contains chitosan covalently bound to a neutral red mediator, and carboxylated carbon nanotubes. USE - Device for quantitatively assessing glucose content in blood. Can also be used in food products, and fermentation processes. ADVANTAGE - The operating time of the biosensor can be increased without replacing the biorecognition element. The polymer base comprises tetraethoxysilane and chitosan, used for immobilization of the glucose oxidase enzyme to create a stable biocompatible environment that maintains the oxidative activity of the enzyme at a high level and also prevent leaching from the electrode surface, which allows increasing the operating time of the biosensor without replacing the sensitive element.
