成果简介	NOVELTY - Manufacturing an amino acids based composition from human hair involves acid hydrolysis of waste human hair characterized in that the waste human hair is subjected to (i) acid (HCl) hydrolysis at ambient temperature using Hydrochloric acid (HCl) acid strength of 11-13 (N) for duration of 7- 45 days; (ii) continuation of the hydrolysis at 60-100 ℃ with gradual increase of temperature for half an hour to 1 hour and the reaction mass is diluted with fresh water; (iii) allowing the reaction mass to natural cooling to ambient temperature (6-18 hours); (iv) removing the insoluble polypeptide, fats and fatty acids produced from the reaction by filtering; and (v) neutralizing the excess HCl present in the mass with Sodium hydroxide (NaOH), so the pH of the same lies between 5.5 -7. USE - Method for manufacturing an amino acids based composition from human hair, that used as health drink for human consumption. ADVANTAGE - The method provides amino acids based composition with higher yield of at least 90% conversion of hair protein. The method has a self controlled process, natural cooling is applied, and less loss of raw material due to higher conversion. The vessel used for hydrolysis is cheaper than that of others who use high pressure and high temperature from the very beginning hence their vessel is costly; any genetic defect in the cells of human hair is taken care of adequately using strong HCl; no organic solvent is used, so the process is less costly.
