成果简介	NOVELTY - Invention relates to agriculture, in particular to methods of processing various organic wastes using vermicomposting, and can be used to increase soil fertility and productivity of agroecosystems and simultaneously for recycling plant wastes formed in various fields. Method of processing vegetable wastes involves preparing a nutrient mixture by mixing vegetable wastes in the form of vegetable and fruit scraps, as well as components having a nutritional and fertilizing function in the form of straw, cardboard and crushed eggshell. Nutrient mixture is maintained at room temperature for 2 hours. Porous material with thickness of 20 to 50 mm is placed on the bottom of the composting container and the nutrient mixture is placed into the composting container. Worms are added to the nutrient mixture in amount of 1,500-2,000 individuals per 1 m3. Composting is carried out for 40-50 days and the worms are separated from the obtained biocompost. Ratio of initial components, wt.%: vegetable and fruit scraps – 50-60, straw – 15-29, cardboard – 20-30, crushed eggshell – 1-3. USE - Agriculture. ADVANTAGE - Increasing output of biocompost from vegetable wastes, as well as avoiding use of reagents and heating containers, which reduces energy consumption. 2 cl
