成果简介	NOVELTY - The system has a first sprocket mounted on a shaft in communication with a circular ring (102) for facilitating rotation of the ring in conjunction with the shaft. A second sprocket is mounted on a first platform and in communication with the first sprocket to drive the first sprocket at desired revolutions per minute. A feeding tray (106) is mounted on a frame (120) and positioned between peripheral ends of the ring facing a chopping unit and configured to feed hay or grass in an operative forward direction. The ring is rotatably mounted on a second platform by the shaft. USE - Fodder cutting apparatus for use by small-scale farmers in an agricultural sector for cutting a fodder e.g. hay and grass, of a livestock e.g. cattle, sheep and goat. ADVANTAGE - The apparatus mitigates discomfort and musculoskeletal problems that arise due to prolonged use of the apparatus and reduces health risks. The apparatus integrates ergonomic design principles with anthropometric dimensions to create a user-friendly and cost-effective alternative so as to improve efficiency of the apparatus and enhance productivity of the fodder. The apparatus cuts fodder in customizable sizes, thus resulting in healthier livestock with improved growth rates, milk production, and overall well-being. The apparatus is accessible to small-scale farmers, and can be operated by a single person and using a single hand.
