METHOD FOR LABORATORY MONITORING OF VINCRISTINE POLYNEUROPATHY IN CHILDREN WITH ACUTE LYMPHOBLASTIC LEUKAEMIA

成果简介	NOVELTY - Invention refers to medicine, namely to neurology, and can be used for laboratory monitoring of vincristine polyneuropathy in children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. At different stages of the chemotherapeutic treatment, blood plasma and cerebrospinal fluid are analysed for cytokine content to assess development of vincristine polyneuropathy (VP). At the initial stage – before chemotherapy, blood plasma interleukin 13 (IL-13) and nerve growth factor beta (NGF-β) are measured. If the content of IL-13 is more than 7.06 pg/ml, the development of VP is predicted, and if the level of NGF-β equal to or less than 22.7 pg/ml, early onset of VP during the first therapeutic cycle is predicted. At the induction stage – 36th day of chemotherapy, the concentration of inducible protein 10 (IP-10) and stromal cell factor-1 alpha (SDF-1α) are measured. If the IP-10 level is more than 22.9 pg/ml and SDF-1α is more than 349.0 pg/ml, presence of VP is diagnosed. At the consolidating stage – 85th day of chemotherapy, blood plasma content of vascular endothelial growth factor A (VEGF-A) is assessed. If the VEGF-A level is equal to or less than 309.2 pg/ml, the presence of VP is diagnosed. USE - Medicine. ADVANTAGE - Method enables laboratory monitoring of vincristine polyneuropathy in children with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia by determining cytokine markers of blood plasma and cerebrospinal fluid, including an evidence-based spectrum of cytokine markers objectively assessing the development of polyneuropathy at different stages of chemotherapeutic treatment of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. 1 cl, 6 ex
