成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to electrolytic production of metal and can be used in separating multiphase flows in order to extract electrolysis products. Electrolysis cell comprises electrolysis compartment with alternating anodes and cathodes, metal separation compartment, separated by a partition with upper and lower circulation channels, at that, in the separation compartment there is additionally installed a diaphragm, pivotally connected to its base, fixed on the partition, at that, on the diaphragm a rod is pivotally installed, which regulates the angle of inclination of the diaphragm relative to the partition, wherein the diaphragm is made so that, regardless of the angle of inclination, the free end of the diaphragm is not higher than the lower edge of the upper circulation channel, and the cathodes are installed so that the upper edge of the cathodes corresponds to the lower edge of the upper circulation channel, wherein the diaphragm is configured to change the angle of inclination by formula α = 65 - 50⋅i, where i is anode current density, A/cm2, and the anode current density is in range from 0.2 to 1 A/cm2. Method includes maintaining gas filling of electrolyte with gas bubbles in interelectrode gap, providing closed circulation of electrolyte between electrolysis compartment and metal separation compartment and preventing occurrence of downward flow of electrolyte in interelectrode gap, and creating a flow of electrolyte and metal above the cathodes, directed towards the upper circulation channels, wherein the flow rate of the electrolyte and metal above the cathodes is controlled by changing the angle of inclination of the diaphragm αinstalled in separation compartment, determined by formula α = 65 - 50⋅i, where i is anode current density, A/cm2, and anode current density ranges from 0.2 to 1 A/cm2.
