| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Three dimensional (3D) cell culture device comprises a cellulose derived substrate including a polymer coated glossy side facilitating capillary action arrested immobilization and uniform distribution of cells in cell culture well bonded to the other non-glossy side, where the cellulose derived substrate at its glossy side supported on a glass substrate with its non-glossy side supporting the cell culture well having integrated operating electrodes and operative connect through contact pads. USE - Three dimensional cell culture device for real-time monitoring of cell viability and used in tissue engineering and modeling, replicate disease mechanism, real-time and non-invasive impedimetric monitoring of cell proliferation, cell based assay, development of healthcare diagnostic tools, and cancer aggressiveness. ADVANTAGE - The three-dimensional cell culture device provides cost-effective fabrication of polymer-coated cellulosic substrate enabled 3D cell culture platform having minimal wicking capacity, capillary action and effective cellular adhesion with minimized risk of contamination advantageously free of pre-treatment, functionalization, or patterning of the substrate. The cell culture device is a ready-to-use device, requiring no pre-treatment, functionalization, or patterning and it is favorable for long-term device storage and shelf life. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for method of fabrication of 3D cell culture device for real-time monitoring of cell viability, which involves: (i) providing a cellulose derived substrate with a polymer coated glossy side and a non-glossy other side; (ii) providing the glossy side of the cellulose derived substrate supported on a glass substrate with its non-glossy side supporting cell culture well; and (iii) integrating operating electrodes and connecting contact pads on the the nonglossy side supporting cell culture well to enable desired real-time monitoring of cell viability. |
