Method of preventing stress reactions involves the use of a multicomponent herbal preparation consisting of an aqueous infusion of Jacob's-ladder herb, St. John's wort herb, horse chestnut flowers, pale persicaria herb in a weight ratio of 2:2:1:1, respectively, at ratio of 1 g of dried medicinal plant material with moisture content of 11 wt.% per 10 ml of the extractant – purified water, the infusion is administered orally in dose of 80 mg/kg of body weight based on dry residue 60 minutes before the stress load.
