Synchronous generator with combined excitation consists of stator assembled from sheets of electrical steel, on which there is a winding made with copper enamelled wire, and salient-pole rotor assembled from sheets of electrical steel. Invention is characterized by pairwise alternation of poles with electromagnetic excitation and poles with permanent magnets on the rotor. Direction of magnetisation of the adjacent magnets is opposite, and the direction of the poles with electromagnetic excitation is alternating. USE - Electrical engineering.
