| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Invention relates to metal processing technology, specifically to the manufacture of hand-held cutting tools such as blades with a wear-resistant corrosion-resistant composite coating, intended for operation in a corrosive medium, in particular, to the manufacture of surgical scalpels for operation in the human body, as well as to the manufacture of "diving" knives and other cutting tools used in underwater operations in sea water. A wear-resistant corrosion-resistant composite coating based on Ti-TiC is formed on the tool base of titanium or its alloy. Application of said coating is carried out in two stages. At the first stage, plasma-chemical treatment is carried out in 0.1–0.2% aqueous solution of NaCl by exciting arc discharges between the cathode-polarized tool base and uniformly moved above it at a rate, not exceeding 3 mm/s, with a graphite anode, while the arc discharge current is 40–80 A. Then, at the second stage, laser surfacing of titanium carbide TiC powder is performed on the coating layer formed by plasma-chemical treatment by moving a laser beam on its surface with simultaneous coaxial supply of TiC powder and blowing of molten volume with argon. Finally, the coating is subjected to mechanical treatment – grinding. USE - Metal processing. ADVANTAGE - Improved quality of cutting tool with composite wear-resistant corrosion-resistant coating due to regulation of thickness of the latter, forming it with defect-free surface and uniform distribution of titanium carbide grains TiC in titanium matrix close in size and morphology. |
