| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The tool has a gripper defining two jaws, where the first jaws is biased away with respect to the second jaw with a biasing force to define an open configuration of the gripper. A rod (120) is fixedly coupled to the latter jaw, and an elongated unit is telescopically movable with the rod such that the rod is movable between a retracted state and an extended state. A biasing unit (140), i.e helical spring biases the rod away from the elongated unit to the extended state with a second biasing force. An actuation mechanism configured to be applied to selectively pull and release the second end portion of the pulling element such that when the actuation mechanism pulls the second end portion. The pulling element(150) exerts a first pulling force on the second jaw in opposition to the first biasing force to pull the second jaw towards the first jaw, and causing the second jaw to abut with the first jaw and moving the gripper to a closed configuration. USE - Harvesting tool for plucking produce e.g. fruits such as black pepper fruits and vegetables, from trees, plants and creepers. Uses include but are not limited to black pepper fruits, mulberries, lychees, apples, pears, citrus, grapes, cocoa, and avocados. ADVANTAGE - A track includes a series of grooves or ridges along its length to ensure smooth and stable movement of the handle. The tool facilitates the user to pluck the produce from the tree and ensures minimum or no damage to the plucked produce during the collection of the produce plucked from the tree. The first jaw and the second jaw may include a resilient cover having a non-slip surface ensuring effective grip while accommodating the produce. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - A basket is coupled to the elongated unit, and defines a mouth aligned towards the gripper to receive the produce. An actuation mechanism includes an electrically actuable linear motor having a linearly extending stator portion, and an actuation element movable with respect to the linearly extending stator portion and being fixedly coupled to the second end portion of the pulling element. An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is included for a method for plucking produce from a tree.
