A powertrain unit body (100) comprises a power pack. The traction motor comprises a star point (110), where the protection module is integrated with the star point of the traction motor. The control unit is communicably coupled with the protection module to control operation of the protection module. USE - Powertrain unit for an electric vehicle. ADVANTAGE - The unit protects inverter and enhances overall powertrain efficiency by mitigating energy losses due to uncontrolled voltage fluctuations. The unit improves vehicle safety, efficiency, and durability and ensures real-time detection and response which allows seamless operation without manual intervention.
