成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to surface plastic deformation of metal articles. Disclosed is a method of hardening metal products by surface plastic deformation, at which a compressive force is applied to the surface of the article by means of puncheons, wherein a compressive force is applied to the surface of the article on the hardened section, which is a periodic function of time, which parameters are maintained at preset level by means of automatic control system, and the compressive force itself with the number of cycles from 1,000 to 300,000 is applied simultaneously to the entire surface area on the article to be strengthened, forming a deformed structure of fatigue nature in the material of the article on the hardened section.
