成果简介NOVELTY - Producing zinc oxide (ZnO) pellet involves (a) subjecting zinc sulfide (ZnS) specimen within a furnace in a suspended position, (b) subjecting specimen simultaneously to a roasting process and a sintering process within the furnace by setting the furnace (106) to a flash onset temperature followed by applying a flash onset electric field across ZnS specimen, and (c) holding ZnS specimen within the furnace for a predetermined holding time to obtain dense ZnO pellet USE - Method for producing zinc oxide pellet used to convert metal sulfides into metal oxides. ADVANTAGE - This simultaneous process facilitates the transformation of ZnS into ZnO while enhancing pellet densification. The zinc oxide (ZnO) pellet is simple and energy efficient, requires relatively less time for completion and comparatively lower energy. The method for producing zinc oxide (ZnO) pellet in which sintering process and roasting process takes place in a single step.
