成果简介NOVELTY - Invention can be used for making scintillators for detecting ionizing radiation in nuclear physics, elementary particle physics, nuclear medicine, in particular, in positron emission tomography, as well as for production of X-ray security systems and custom inspection for clearance of large-sized cargoes. Initial components: tungsten nanopowder with average surface particle diameter of 74 nm and Me (II) oxide powder, where Me is selected from Zn, Mg, Sr, are mixed during 10 minutes in stoichiometric ratio. Obtained mixture is placed in a ceramic crucible, covered with a ceramic cover and stirred in a high-temperature furnace heated in which the mixture is heated and held for 60-70 minutes. Then the crucible is cooled in air, cake is extracted from it, which is ground to powder. USE - Inorganic chemistry.
