成果简介	NOVELTY - The system (100) has a triangular prism shaped stand arrangement (110) with a rod (110-3) connecting upper tips of triangular faces of the arrangement. Handles (110-1, 110- 2) are attached to points on the rod. The arrangement holds a harness (102) restraining a body of an animal by attaching the handles to hanging tips (102-6-102-9) of the harness. The harness is fabricated from a soft silicon rubber band and a thermoplastic elastomer, where the harness adapts to the body shape of the animal without causing discomfort to the animal. A neck holder cone (108) is made from a rolled acrylic sheet, and is attached to a neck circling upper part (102-10) by hook and loop fasteners, where the cone is attached to neck of the animal. USE - Animal restrainer system for handling and confining cats to perform procedures e.g. bathing, clipping nails or medical procedures, to the animal by a caretaker or a veterinarian. Can also be used for dogs and rabbits. ADVANTAGE - The system can be easily fixed around the body of the animal. The system provides effective restraining of the animal without causing discomfort to the animal, and aids in exposing most of the body such as stomach surface, of the animal for treatment. The system is adaptable to the size of the animal, and is simple and easy to handle. The system can be employed to restrict number of the animals during different treatment procedures. DETAILED DESCRIPTION - An INDEPENDENT CLAIM is also included for a method for restraining an animal by an animal restrainer system.
