成果简介NOVELTY - Invention relates to a method of preparing the surface of a graphitized electrode for applying a protective coating. Electrode surface is machined to remove contaminants. Relief and adhesion sublayer are applied on its surface. After removal of contaminants using mechanical treatment, the diameter of the electrode surface differs from the diameter of the electrode holder by 0.1–5.0 mm. After applying the relief, the depth of irregularities on the surface of electrode is 0.2–3.0 mm. For application of sublayer of adhesion with thickness of 0.05–0.5 mm aluminium or its alloys containing 5–10% of silicon are used. USE - Various technological processes.
