| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - In the method, which includes evaluation of animals by type and origin, by live weight and body measurements – height at withers, oblique body length, chest girth, metacarpal girth, by conformation and milkiness of mares, where the preliminary assessment of the animals is carried out at age of 6 months, and selected are fillies with live weight of at least 195 kg, and foals 210 kg, with body measurements – height at the withers, oblique body length, chest girth, metacarpal girth, at least 116.0:114.0:122.0:14.0 cm for fillies and 118.0:116.0:125.0:14.5 cm for foals, respectively, secondary selection of animals is carried out at 2.5 years, while fillies are selected with live weight of at least 360 kg, and colts at least 370 kg with measurements of at least 130.0:132.0:158.0:17.5 cm for fillies and 134.0:136.0:160.0:18.0 cm for colts, first lactation mares are finally selected for selection with live weight of at least 390 kg.
