Valves are configured in a gas supply line for shutting off a gas supply upon detection of leakage of gas. A communication module sends information to a user in case of a gas leakage. A control unit checks if the received real time data from the gas sensors exceeding a predefined threshold for detecting potential gas leakage, provides a signal to the valves to shut off the gas supply in case of gas leakage and triggers an alarm module for alerting the residents of the gas leakage if the real time data from the gas sensors exceeds the predefined threshold. The control unit triggers the communication module for sending information of gas leakage to a user if the real time data from the gas sensors exceeds a predefined threshold USE - System for identifying liquified petroleum gas leakage and facilitating automatic shutdown of gas supply in case of gas leakage. ADVANTAGE - The system can ensure safety of households by detecting liquified petroleum gas leakage to take immediate action by shutting down the gas supply after the detection of the gas leakage so as to incorporate a remote monitoring system that can provide immediate notice to a user and the authorities.
