| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - The system has a ratchet mechanism used to lock wheels of a bullock cart which allows motion only in a forward direction and locks the wheels in reverse direction. The ratchet mechanism is fitted to axle of the wheels. A pawl is engaged with ratchet teeth. USE - Locking system for a bullock cart used by sugar factories to carry sugar cane over a slope. Can also be used in four-wheeled vehicle i.e. car. ADVANTAGE - The system prevents the reverse wheeling of the vehicle on an incline. The system provides safety to the bullock cart. The ratchet mechanism allows the motion only in the forward direction and locks the wheels in the reverse direction. The pawl is engaged with the ratchet teeth, thus preventing backward motion. The system is easy for the bullocks to carry the load over the slope, and avoids moving the bullock cart many times in reverse direction for avoiding accidents.
