| 成果简介 | NOVELTY - Method for manufacturing/recycling multi-component polyurethane raw materials from thermoplastic and thermosetting polyurethane, involves (a) shredding polyurethane foam into small pieces, (b) heating the shredded polyurethane foam to a temperature between 100-300°C, (c) allowing the inherent reagents to depolymerize the polyurethane foam and converting from a solid state to a liquid mixture through heating, and (d) adding additional pieces of shredded polyurethane foam to the liquid mixture until depolymerization of all the pieces is complete, where the foam is heated under a negative pressure of 0-720 mm/mercury with or without mechanical agitation of 0-1000 revolution per minute (rpm) with or without an inert gas atmosphere e.g. nitrogen and/or argon, causing the foam to release inherent reagents. USE - Method for manufacturing/recycling multi-component polyurethane raw materials from thermoplastic and thermosetting polyurethane. ADVANTAGE - The method does not require external chemicals and can utilize various heating sources. The resulting liquid mixture contains polyols, which can be used to produce new polyurethane products, ensuring 100% recyclable from the foam. The resulting recycled polyurethane foam, when mixed with polyol and isocyanate, can be used to produce polyurethane foam, polyurethane adhesives, and polyurethane coatings. The method for recycling polyurethane foam with chain extenders can solve the significant environmental challenge of the disposal of non-biodegradable foam and minimize reliance on landfills and incineration. The method is simple and economical. |
